Guilt-Free Thousand Island Dressing?
Absolutely! Ok, so here we are once again talking about dressing. I know, pretty boring right? Well, not if you’re trying to stick to your healthy lifestyle diet and you just REALLY miss your absolute favorite dressing! In my case, that is Thousand Island dressing!
As I’m sure you’re aware, even the lo-cal varieties of Thousand Island dressing are not very healthy because when they reduce the fat, they replace it with sugar and other chemicals that are equally not good for you.
So, I’ve created what I believe is an absolutely delicious guilt-free thousand island version that will both satisfy your craving and still keep you on track! So are you ready for the yummy goodness? Ok, cool!
Guilt-Free Thousand Island Dressing
- 1/2 C Greek yogurt fat-free
- 1 kosher dill pickle spear minced fine
- 2 tbsp honey raw, unfiltered
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1/2 tblsp apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 tsp Sirachi
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt or to taste
- 1/4 tsp black pepper or to taste
- Here's the hard part!!!
- Dump everything in a bowl, mix it all up and serve.
- Store remaining dressing in refrigerator. It will keep for up to 4 days.
So how awesome is it that at only 57 calories and zero fat per serving, now you can have your Thousand Island and eat it too?!
